Bond uses Privy as its authentication layer, supporting both embedded wallets (created through social login) and externally owned accounts (your own wallet). You can switch between signing modes at any time without losing access to your funds.

Embedded Wallet Security

Embedded wallets are created and secured through Privy's infrastructure. When you sign in with your email or social account, a wallet is provisioned for you with keys managed through secure, encrypted storage. You do not need to manage seed phrases or private keys. The wallet is accessible only through your authenticated session.

Switching Signing Wallets

If you have both an embedded wallet and connected external wallets, you can choose which wallet signs transactions. Open the wallet menu in the header and select “Change Signing Wallet”. If you have pending transactions, you will need to wait for them to complete before switching.
